Bartender - Samuels Restaurant
Salary of £25,397 per annum, plus tronc
40 hours per week, 5 days over 7
We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our passionate Food & Beverage team. Working within the elegant surroundings of Samuels Restaurant, you’ll create memorable experiences for our guests by serving outstanding drinks with warmth, skill, and professionalism.

Swinton Estate is situated in the Yorkshire Dales and is one of the largest privately owned estates in England. Constantly developing we boast Swinton Park, a luxury traditional castle hotel with 42 bedrooms, three holiday cottages and award winning Samuel’s Restaurant; a luxurious country club and spa including the contemporary Terrace Restaurant; Swinton Bivouac a glamping site with tree lodges, yurts and café, and last but by no means least the Swinton cookery school.
Duties and responsibilities
• Welcoming customers, listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders
• Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers
• Handling credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate
• Working with the Restaurant Manager to develop new cocktail recipes
• Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance
• Ensuring a consistent drinks experience for all of our guests, by serving well executed drinks at a fast pace at all times
• Classic cocktail knowledge
• Strong task and time management abilities
• Understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques
• Maintaining high cleanliness
• On-going training will be given in all aspects of restaurant and bar work and there may be opportunities for career progression.
