A leading multi-site organisation is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (SAP FICO) to join their Business Solutions & Applications team. This is a key position supporting a major finance transformation programme and acting as the subject matter expert for SAP FICO across the business.
This role offers a blend of project work, business analysis, and system improvements within a highly supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
As the SAP FICO Business Analyst, you will:
• Act as the organisation's SAP FICO subject matter expert
• Support a major finance transformation project, including company code consolidation and reporting structure redesign
• Work closely with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, map processes, and deliver functional solutions
• Own enhancements, configuration changes, testing (incl. UAT), and documentation
• Troubleshoot issues and provide second-line application support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure adherence to systems governance
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SAP and business processes
Essential Criteria
To be considered, you must have:
• Significant hands-on experience in SAP FICO within a complex environment
• Strong understanding of financial processes and reporting
• Proven ability to partner with finance teams and stakeholders
• Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and business analysis
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multi-discipline applications team
Desirable Experience
(Not essential, but beneficial)
• SAP VIM, SAP IBP, CBP
• SAP Analytics Cloud or BW
• FMCG background
• Exposure to other SAP modules or other ERP systems
• Project management experience (formal or informal)
Working Model & Package
• £50,000 - £60,000 salary depending on experience
• Hybrid working: 3 days in the Belfast office, 2 days WFH
