This role is ideal for those seeking flexible working hours, including evenings or weekends, or work that can fit around other commitments.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with meal preparation, medication prompts, and light household tasks.
• Support clients with mobility and day-to-day activities.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.
• Follow individual care plans and report any changes in clients’ needs.
• Ensure client safety and uphold professional care standards.
Requirements
Desirable(Not essential)
• Previous experience in care or domiciliary support.
• Understanding of safeguarding and care best practices.
• Full training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude, values, and willingness to learn.
Essential Skills & Qualities
• Caring, patient, and respectful approach.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work independently and use initiative.
• Willingness to travel between client homes (a driving licence is an advantage but not essential).
