Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. Duties
• Operate curtain-sided vehicles in compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
• Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery schedules and minimise delays. These routes are multi drop across UK & Ireland.
• Load and unload goods securely, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs weekly and monthly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen issues.
• Adhere to all legal requirements related to driving hours, vehicle operation, and product safety.

Qualifications
• Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with delivery driver experience.
• Valid driving licence suitable for operating curtain sided vehicles.
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and service. • Nights out each week will be required @ £30
