Part time, 25 hours per week, 5 hrs per day 6am to 11 am with the possibility of working weekends

Full time, 40 hours per week, 6am to 4 pm

Serco have a new role as a Housekeeper. You will be responsible for executing cleaning duties in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Working independently or in a team cleaning all designated areas, ensuring facilities such as bathrooms, bedrooms and offices are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.

As a housekeeper will be working in a team dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces in their work areas which includes bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, offices, medical rooms, corridors, storerooms and various other rooms. You will be wiping down desks, tables, walls, showers, toilets, doors, skirting boards and any other hard surfaces and also vacuuming carpeted areas and treating stains. You would also be emptying and cleaning bins.

You will also need to use and display all safety signs when cleaning and understand all environmental issues, health and safety procedures and laws that you will then need to comply to. You should also be able to use all the chemical and cleaning materials provided (after training), and be able to maintain all paperwork is correct and up to date.
