Job Summary of Cleaning Associate:
This role is focused on ensuring the store is clean and well-maintained to enhance the safety and welcoming atmosphere for shoppers. Responsibilities encompass tasks like floor cleaning, waste removal, and the upkeep of employee areas like break rooms and storage spaces. Demonstrating a high level of responsibility and meticulousness is vital to maintaining the store's cleanliness and overall presentation.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cleaning Associate:
• Keep floors in optimal condition by sweeping, mopping, and waxing accordingly.
• Safely collect and get rid of waste from specified areas throughout the store.
• Keep restrooms, breakrooms, and shared work areas clean and sanitized through regular maintenance.
• It is essential to uphold cleanliness in the back rooms, storage sections, and access areas.
• Address spills and other immediate cleaning needs promptly and in a safe maer.
• Aid in the setup or breakdown of store fixtures and equipment as required.
• Contribute to the overall functioning of various departments through maintenance and cleaning support.
Qualifications and Experience of Cleaning Associate:
• It is advantageous to have previous experience in janitorial or maintenance, but it is not mandatory.
• Ability to securely manage and operate cleaning equipment and tools.
• Thorough care for details and a strong dedication to the cleanliness standards of the store.
• Possessing the ability to function autonomously while following the protocols in place at the store.
• Flexibility in working hours, which may entail nights, weekends, and holidays.
• - Candidates are preferred to have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
