Description

About Tute
A Tute contractor teacher’s primary role is to deliver and evaluate high quality teaching and learning within our vision to create a world when online learning enables any child, anywhere to achieve their potential; all while working from home and to suit your availability!

Tute's team consists of nearly 32 employed teachers (Employed Teachers) and over 80 teachers who contract their services to us on a self-employed basis (Contractor Teachers). This is an exciting opportunity: passionate, fully qualified, experienced online practitioners whose profession is now soundly in online teaching. A profession that is wildly misunderstood, online teaching is no less a career than its classroom counterpart; it requires QTS, experience, skill, and a deep commitment to helping students succeed.

The demand for Tute's services varies throughout the year, and by expanding our contractor teachers, we enhance our capability to respond to this fluctuating demand which increases our capacity but also brings in subject-specific expertise when required, allowing our contractor teachers to engage in work they are passionate about on their own terms.

The Role

Building on our evidence-informed strategies, you will deliver lessons with provided learning resources and facilitate real student outcomes. You will support children and young people through effective assessment and provide meaningful feedback to progress learning further.

You will have excellent subject knowledge and are able to create a positive learning environment that enables students to engage in learning and succeed.

Removing the growing barriers that face teachers in today’s traditional classrooms will allow you to focus on what inspired you to become a teacher: teaching, learning, progress, and achievement. Working from home on days and times that suit you, it's a proposition that's both enticing and promising, offering you the opportunity to thrive in an environment where your passion for education can truly shine.

This is a profession - you will plan, you will teach, you will assess, you will build relationships, you will have fun, you will support, you will facilitate progress and you will make a real difference to the lives of children and young people. Join us!
