Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrician’s Mate, located in Smallfield. The Electrician’s Mate will assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include supporting electrical installations, preparing tools and materials, ensuring safety compliance, and troubleshooting basic electrical issues under supervision. Collaboration with the team, maintaining a safe workspace, and adhering to project schedules are also key responsibilities.
Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and electrical installations
• Ability to support routine maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment
• Familiarity with safety standards, tools, and equipment used in electrical work
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to assist with inventory and material management
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with electricians and other team members
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and working in various conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
• Previous experience or a certification as an Electrician's Mate is advantageous
