Description
A highly regarded international law firm is hiring into its London Employment team on a permanent basis. The team is open to appointing either an experienced Senior Paralegal or a qualified lawyer into a Staff Attorney-style role, depending on background and overall fit.
This role sits within a top-ranked employment practice and focuses on non-transactional, advisory and support work, offering high-quality exposure without the pressure of a traditional associate track.
This role will be supporting partners and senior lawyers on advisory employment matters. You will be drafting client updates, know-how materials and internal guidance, providing day-to-day employment law support across a broad client base and contributing to business development and practice development initiatives. Approximately 25% of the role is dedicated to pro bono work, enabling senior lawyers to focus on chargeable matters
The firm is seeking a candidate with a strong grounding in general employment law, experience within a billable, client-facing environment, confident written skills, including preparing client-facing materials and corporate support experience is helpful but not essential. You should have an interest in knowledge development, BD activity and wider team contribution.
Why This Role?
• High-quality employment work within a leading team
• Permanent role offering stability and long-term prospects
• Reduced pressure compared to associate-track positions
• Genuine involvement in client work, BD and pro bono initiatives
• Supportive, partner-led environment with clear oversight
