F&B Waiter/Waitress

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, attentive and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure guest satisfaction and contribute to a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and seat guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Present menus, offer recommendations and answer questions about menu items.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
• Check on customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any issues.
• Clear tables, reset for the next guest and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Process payments and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
• Follow all health and safety standards and restaurant policies.

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a customer service role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Food Handler’s Certificate (if required by local laws).
