The Position:

We're looking for a passionate Human Resources Manager committed to delivering excellence in our mission to care for Kupuna. Human Resources Manager formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to assigned community/business units and employees, that reflects the People strategy of OPH. The HRM is responsible for the management of day-to-day performance and service delivery and primary liaison between People Operations and Community Operations. This role is essential in promoting OPH core values and enabling operational excellence through human resource services and support. Responsibilities include:
• Partners with leadership and hiring managers to understand and execute the human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to the current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and talent management.
• Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Facilitates candidate selection; interviewing; job offer; coordinate pre-employment requirements and onboarding details.
• Actively participates in recruitment campaigns; job fairs; college relation programs; general networking; etc., to ensure robust candidate pipeline.
• Provide support and guidance to managers and other staff when complex, specialized and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three to five (3-5) years of HR experience with at least one (1) year experience in recruitment or retention.
• Knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage, and salary trends,
• Knowledge and experience with online networking tools, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, indeed, Monster.com and experience conducting searches on recruitment databases.
