POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resource Manager serves as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to leaders and employees, with a strong focus on building meaningful, collaborative, and influential relationships across the organization. This role ensures that HR initiatives, programs, and support are aligned with business goals while fostering a people-first culture where employees feel heard, supported, and connected. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Relationship Building and Employee Engagement
• Develop strong, trust-based relationships with leaders, managers, and employees at all levels, modeling the relational value of being engaged, clear, generous, humble, and kind in interactions.
• Serve as a go-to resource for employees, proactively engaging with teams to understand their needs, concerns, and ideas.
• Promote a positive workplace culture that enhances connection, belonging, and well-being, and reflects our commitment to healthy and supportive relationships.
• Provide coaching and guidance to managers to strengthen their leadership, communication, and team-building skills in alignment with our relational and opportunity-driven values.
• Act as a liaison between employees and leadership to ensure voices are heard and concerns are addressed promptly, compassionately, and with integrity.

Strategic Partnership
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand organizational goals and align HR strategies that support workforce planning, employee development, engagement, and retention.
• Use data, trends, and feedback to guide decision-making and recommend people-focused solutions that support quality outcomes.
• Partner on change management efforts to ensure transitions are smooth, transparent, and empathetically managed in a way that builds trust and demonstrates integrity.

Employee Relations and Support
• Guide employee relations using a relational, people-centered approach focused on consistency, transparent communication, and respectful resolution.
• Provide guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and workplace best practices.
• Support leaders in navigating complex interpersonal situations with tact, professionalism, and fairness.

HR Operations and Compliance
• Ensure HR policies, practices, and documentation comply with federal, state, and local laws.
• Execute high-quality, hands-on HR functions including Recruitment and Onboarding, Payroll, Benefits and Leave Administration, HR Data and Systems (HRIS), Policy and Compliance, and Learning and Development.
• Assist with investigations, documentation, and follow-through while maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and trust.

Talent Development and Culture
• Help identify talent needs across the organization and collaborate on development plans, training opportunities, and succession planning that create opportunity and career growth.
• Lead or support employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and culture-building activities that reinforce Print Pro’s mission and values.

Position Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 plus years of experience in HR roles, preferably with Human Resource Manager or generalist experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to influence and partner with employees and leaders at all levels.
• Experience navigating employee relations with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Ability to balance relational strengths with confidentiality, accountability, integrity, and strategic thinking.
