Job Summary of Lorry Driver:
Sysco is currently hiring to efficiently deliver a variety of products to our valued customers. As a vital part of our team, you’ll ensure timely deliveries while fostering positive relationships with clients.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Lorry Driver:
• Safely handle a delivery truck to ensure the timely and secure transport of goods to customers.
• Complete manual unloading and delivery tasks involving meats, vegetables, frozen foods, canned goods, and other grocery products.
• - Establish and uphold robust connections with customers by addressing their needs promptly.
• Performing vehicle evaluations before departure and upon return is a necessary procedure.
• Make sure to adhere to all safety standards and traffic laws for a secure environment.
• Aid in the process of moving products to and from different locations.
• Submit all delivery paperwork accurately and within the specified timeframe.
• Always prioritize delivering top-quality service to all customers.
Qualifications and Experience of Lorry Driver:
• The age threshold for participation is 21 years.
• Ensure you have a current Class C/Standard Operator Driver License.
• Competence in the physical handling of items weighing up to 100 pounds through lifting, pushing, or moving.
• Noteworthy driving record devoid of any major offenses.
• While it is preferred to have experience in delivery or transportation, it is not compulsory.
• Proficient in engaging communication and providing top-notch customer assistance.
• - Competency in both autonomous and team-based tasks.
• Readiness for working unconventional hours, like weekends and holidays.
