Description
Mulholland Contracts Ltd are seeking an experienced Class 1 Low Loader Driver to support our operations across the Central Belt.
Job Role / Skills and Experience
As a Low Loader Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transport and delivery of plant and equipment to and from our sites. This includes loading and unloading plant and ensuring loads are secured in line with legal and company requirements. You will be expected to complete daily vehicle checks, maintain paperwork, and work closely with site teams and the transport office.
We are looking for someone with:
• A valid Class 1 licence (Category C+E), Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph card
• Proven experience driving low loaders and transporting plant/equipment
• Strong knowledge of load security, safe loading/unloading, and compliance (tachograph/driver hours)
• A professional, safety-focused approach and good communication skills
• Plant experience (e.g., excavators/rollers/dumpers) or familiarity with construction sites (beneficial)
• Personal Attributes
