Operations / Service Manager

Job Summary of Operations / Service Manager:

You will play a vital leadership role in managing store operations. You will lead and develop teams of Cashiers and Customer Service Supervisors, ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency. This role demands strong leadership, multitasking, and organizational skills within a fast-paced, process-driven retail environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Operations / Service Manager:
• Manage Customer Service and Cashier teams, ensuring compliance with company policies, asset protection, and accurate record keeping.
• Guide Customer Service Supervisors to meet service expectations and maintain smooth register operations.
• Oversee the execution of store operations and receiving standard operating procedures, including continuous flow processes.
• Monitor receiving, transfers, debits, damages, and charge-backs while collaborating with the Receiving Supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Support the Store Manager in staffing, sourcing, interviewing, training, and succession planning efforts.
• Assist with managing other store operations areas as needed.

Qualifications and Experience of Operations / Service Manager:
• At least 3 years of retail management or store operations experience in off-price, big box, specialty, or medium to large multi-unit retail organizations.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and travel as required.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable using scheduling and reporting software.
