Description
Reputable, boutique Plaintiff's Personal Injury Trial Firm is seeking a highly-skilled, motivated Plaintiff's Personal InjuryLitigation Paralegal with experience in NY plaintiff's personal injury litigation to join its LOWER MANHATTAN office located near the Brooklyn Bridge. (This is a 100% "IN OFFICE" position - if you're looking for remote, please do not apply).
IDEAL CANDIDATE will have 3+ years experience as a Plaintiff's P.I. LITIGATION Paralegal in NY. You will have helped prepare a personal injury cases for trial in NY, including medical records chronologies, bill of particulars, assembling trial binders, designations, motions in limine, other trial motions, and helping the attorneys prepare for trial, possibly attending.
SALARY: $75,000 to $95,000 (DOE)
DUTIES: issuing HIPAA authorizations for medical record/bills, drafting demand letters, reviewing and summarizing medical records to prepare medical records summaries / chronologies, drafting pleadings/motions, issuing and answering written discovery, e-filing, legal research, and helping attorneys as their lifeline when it comes to preparing for depos, mediations and trials. Should be highly detail-oriented, independent, organized and able to multi-task. Bilingual (Spanish) is not required but would be a plus.
