Empowering Learning is recruiting committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools across Wigan. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping pupils reach their full potential in a supportive school environment.
Role Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
Work with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis to reinforce learning
Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of resources
Provide support for pupils with additional or special educational needs
Encourage positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment
Assist with assessment and feedback where appropriate
Requirements
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) - essential
Prior experience working with children in a school or educational setting
Strong communication skills and a nurturing, proactive attitude
Understanding of safeguarding and commitment to pupil wellbeing
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
