About The Company

Disrupt Talent is recruiting on behalf of a European leader in sustainable exhibition platform systems, supporting major events such as Farnborough Air Show, Chelsea Flower Show and The Ryder Cup. The company delivers modular flooring solutions and large-scale live event installations for organisers and contractors across the UK and Europe.

As the business continues to grow, they are strengthening their delivery team by hiring a Project Manager who can support hands-on installation work while developing their project management capability.

The Role

This is a hybrid Project Manager / Operations Executive position responsible for coordinating the full lifecycle of exhibition and live event projects—from planning and scheduling to hands-on onsite delivery.

The role is physical, fast-paced, and travel-heavy, ideal for someone with event/exhibition operations experience who is ready to step up into a more structured project management position.

Key Responsibilities Project Coordination
• Support the full project lifecycle from quote through to completion.
• Produce installation schedules, resource lists, and logistics plans.
• Book transport, accommodation, equipment, crews, and materials.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate preparation and dispatch.
• Review site plans, layouts, and specifications (AutoCAD familiarity advantageous).

Onsite Operations
• Attend events to oversee installation and breakdown of modular flooring systems.
• Work hands-on with crews during builds—this role involves manual work.
• Ensure all work is delivered on time, safely, and to client specifications.
• Support larger jobs such as the six-week Farnborough Air Show build.

Client & Stakeholder Liaison
• Act as a point of contact for clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Attend onsite meetings and walk-throughs as required.
• Maintain strong communication between office, yard, and site teams.

Logistics & Administration
• Ensure resources, stock, and vehicles align with project requirements.
• Assist with quoting, job files, RAMS documents, and project reporting.
• Maintain accurate timelines, delivery notes, and project records.

What You'll Bring
• Experience in exhibitions, live events, operations, or site installation.
• Ability to work hands-on in physical environments and outdoors for extended periods.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask.
• Confident communicator able to coordinate crews, clients, and suppliers.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay away for multi-week projects.
• Practical, solution-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of event build processes; CAD knowledge is a bonus, not essential.

Why Apply?
• Salary £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience.
• Work on high-profile UK & European exhibitions and live event builds.
• Clear pathway to develop into a fully-fledged Project Manager over the next 1-2 years.
