What you'll be doing?

As Receptionist you will provide a professional, friendly and efficient reception & administrative role at Barratt Redrow’s Group Support Centre.

You will be contracted to work 30 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday 8am to 5pm. You will be required to work flexibly to cover for the other reception staff, in the event of holidays and absence.

Reporting to the Office Manager, you will be expected to:
• Provide reception and telephonist duties for Barratt Redrow and subsidiary companies.
• Process requests for meeting room bookings, training sessions, ordering catering and office refreshments, managing incoming and outgoing post, management of daily reports and other ad hoc duties.
• Assist with the organising of contractors such as plumbers and electricians to undertake repair works and manage the schedule of servicing & inspections with our suppliers & updating of schedules
• Raise purchase orders on COINS and ensure authorisation of invoices in line with Company policy.
• Order consumables as required, such as stationary, and cleaning products.
• Ad hoc administrative duties as required by the Office Manager

What You’ll Need

To be successful you will have:
• Experience of working in a reception or administration role within a corporate environment
• An excellent customer service and telephone manner
• Proficiency with MS office programmes
• Willingness to be trained as a first aider/fire warden
• Self-disciplined, with demonstrably good time management skills
• Ability to multi-task, and work efficiently and accurately under pressure
• Team player, supportive of colleagues
• Professional and pleasant manner in dealing with internal and external customer
• Experience of working within the new home building construction industry and experience using COINS would be desirable
