Step Outlet is a family owned and run independent footwear and workwear company established over 40 years and based in Oldham. We are proud to be serving our local community both in our store and online with excellent service to our customers. We are now looking to build our team with an additional full time Sales Assistant for our store Step Outlet based in Royton. We want to find a talented, passionate and skilled individual who can help elevate the business and impact positively on our unique business. The customer is at the heart of everything we do, and we will always endeavour to offer everything they need to help them explore and enjoy our products.
We are looking to appoint a full time Sales Assistant including weekend working.
What are we looking for?
• A Full time Sales Assistant including weekend working
• A positive attitude towards a fast-paced, customer focused retail environment, we pride ourselves on putting the customer first.
• A willingness to gain excellent product knowledge in order to be able to advise the customer in an optimal and precise manner.
• Confident and friendly interpersonal and communication skills who thrives in social situations through engagement with customers.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on store needs.
• An ability to pay attention to details no matter how big or small
• You are a team player with high levels of motivation, a positive attitude and willingness to learn
What will I be doing?
• Providing customers with a friendly, knowledgeable and seamless sales experience as you help them with things like sizes or styles, purchases, or returns
• Support the setting up of a good-looking shop floor and maintaining store displays as well as keeping tidy and well-organised stockrooms
• Provide a clean, safe and visually stimulating environment by performing daily cleaning duties
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products on to the shop floor and ensuring they are all correctly priced
• Supporting the stock management systems of the business including stock checks
• Ensuring a safe working environment for staff and customers
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £24,420.00 per year
