Senior Litigation Paralegal

Our client, a prestigious and growing law firm in Raleigh, North Carolina , is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Litigation Paralegal to join their esteemed litigation department. This role demands extensive experience in all phases of civil litigation, from case inception through trial and post-trial proceedings. You will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and discovery requests, managing complex discovery processes (including e-discovery), preparing for depositions, and assisting attorneys during trials. Your duties will include organizing and maintaining case files, coordinating with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel, and managing court filings and deadlines. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong understanding of court rules and procedures in relevant jurisdictions. Proficiency in legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for drafting legal documents and communicating effectively with all parties involved. We are looking for a proactive self-starter with the ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision. A minimum of five years of paralegal experience in complex litigation is required. Certification from an ABA-approved paralegal program or a bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
