As a not-for-profit organisation, we provide compassionate residential and home care to more than 1,000 individuals across London and Kent — always putting dignity and person-centred support first.We’re now searching for a Senior Support Technician to join our IT team and play a key role in keeping our care homes and head office connected, supported and running smoothly. What You’ll DoYou’ll be our go-to expert for second-line IT support, solving user issues, leading small projects and making sure our technology empowers our people to do what they do best: care. Based at our Faversham HQ, you’ll also visit other Avante locations when needed.✅ What You’ll BringWe’re looking for someone who has:2+ years’ experience in an ICT end-user support role (ideally remote desktop environments)Experience with Helpdesk ticketing systemsKnowledge of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and MS OfficeSome understanding of WAN networking (a bonus!)Strong people skills — you communicate clearly and patiently with non-technical usersThe ability to mentor and guide junior team membersIf you love solving problems, improving systems and supporting others, you’ll fit right in.
