Description

We are looking for a driven and detail focused Small Works Project Coordinator to join our growing delivery team. This role is centred around managing a steady stream of fast paced projects, typically ranging from a few days to several weeks in duration. These works vary in scope, covering refurbishment, repairs, minor upgrades and other small scale improvements across a range of sites.

The position requires someone who is confident taking ownership of planning, coordination and delivery activities while maintaining clear communication with both internal teams and external clients. You’ll play a key role in ensuring each project is organised, resourced and completed to the expected standard.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate the full lifecycle of small works projects, ensuring smooth delivery from initial planning through to handover
• Prepare project documentation including programmes, method statements, safety information and procurement lists
• Oversee site mobilisation activities such as access arrangements, material delivery schedules and subcontractor coordination
• Maintain regular communication with clients, supervisors and supply chain partners to monitor progress and resolve issues
• Track project milestones, report on work completed and keep all relevant documentation updated
• Support health and safety compliance by ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Manage project variations, assist with cost tracking and contribute to final account information
• Work with the commercial team to price and prepare upcoming project opportunities
• Ensure that project files, records and reports are consistently maintained and filed correctly
• Identify risks, delays or resourcing challenges early and escalate where needed
• Support continuous improvement by helping refine delivery processes and project planning systems

Requirements
• Demonstrable experience coordinating small construction, maintenance or refurbishment projects
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage several live projects at once
• Good understanding of site operations, procurement workflows and health and safety expectations
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and subcontractors
• Confident using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and planning software
• CSCS card required; SSSTS or SMSTS desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider delivery team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £38,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
