Heightside House is beautiful period house along with a complex of smaller individual villas and mews properties, set in extensive stunning grounds and woodlands of over 16 acres, enabling our residents to be surrounded by our region’s natural beauty.
We provide specialist nurse-led care to individuals with mental health issues. You would work in a close team that understands each person’s needs and provides a meaningful contribution to their lives.

• Passionate about promoting person-centred care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work alone and part of a supportive team
• Experience of Care desirable
• NVQ Level 2/3 or willing to complete.
• Optional - Individuals with a passion for an activity they would like to share with our residents e.g. gardening, music, dance, art, cooking, writing etc.
Some of the Key Responsibilities include:
• To provide the highest standard of care for our residents
• Promote independence and follow rehabilitation care planning to increase quality of life
• Provide emotional support and develop trusting relationships with our residents
• Supporting residents to access appointments in the community when required
• Help with all personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, as per care plan.
• Support residents with all aspects of their lives, including daytime leisure and social activities
We have night roles available, full, part time and bank staff needed, mainly 12-hour shifts (with occasional shorter shifts available for 1:1 support).
