Our products can be found on the shelves of Waitrose and Sainsbury’s, or used in well-known restaurants such as The Ivy, Megan’s, Prezzo, and many others. Since taking over the business in 2007, Terry and Barry Grainger have expanded the product range to include glass, terracotta, wood, metals, and textiles alongside our established ceramic collections.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join our busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring stock is handled safely, accurately, and efficiently to meet customer delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders accurately and on time
• Loading and unloading deliveries using a forklift truck
• Moving stock safely to designated storage locations
• Assisting with general warehouse duties to support daily operations

Stock Control
• Checking inbound deliveries for accuracy, damage, or discrepancies
• Reporting any damages or stock anomalies promptly
• Supporting stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ensuring stock is stored safely, securely, and in good condition

Forklift Operations
• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently in line with company procedures
• Carrying out daily checks on forklift equipment
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations when operating machinery

Health, Safety & Housekeeping
• Following all health and safety guidelines, including manual handling procedures
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse environment
• Complying with company processes and operational standards at all times

What We Are Looking For
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Forklift driving experience is essential (valid licence preferred but not mandatory)
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Willingness to be flexible and support different warehouse tasks when required

Working Hours
• Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,600.00 per year
