Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience and a keen eye for detail to contribute to a dynamic logistics environment. The position involves physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, and requires adherence to safety protocols.

Duties
• Carefully select and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy in quantity and description
• Handle materials efficiently using appropriate techniques and equipment, including forklifts when necessary
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records in real-time
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading goods from lorries or containers
• Maintain organisation of stock within the warehouse, stocking shelves, and replenishing supplies as needed
• Conduct quality control checks to verify product integrity and packaging standards are upheld
• Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
• Ensure all packing activities comply with health and safety regulations

Requirements
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in picking & packing, stock management, or shipping & receiving roles
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous
• Ability to handle materials safely, including heavy lifting up to specified weight limits
• Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is desirable but not essential; training can be provided
• Mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of equipment maintenance are beneficial
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packing and inventory management
• Physical fitness to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards at all times
