Teaching Assistant
Location: Milnrow
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £103.95-£110 per day
Start Date: January
Your Role as a Year 5 Teaching Assistant
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide support across core subjects within the Year 5 classroom
Work 1:1 with pupils who require additional help
Assist in adapting activities to suit different learning needs and abilities
Encourage positive participation, focus and confidence in lessons
Support the class teacher with learning resources, planning and daily routines
Contribute to a calm, safe and inclusive school environment
We're Looking For
Experience supporting children or young people (school, tutoring, youth work, childcare, coaching all welcome)
A proactive, patient and supportive approach
Ability to build strong positive relationships with pupils and staff
Good communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Previous school-based experience is beneficial, but not essential. We welcome applications from graduates and individuals looking to start a rewarding career in education.
