Handle visa-related administration, tracking right-to-work documentation and liaising with external advisers where required. Support compliance activities such as employment status reviews (e.g., IR35) and regulatory obligations (e.g., SMCR requirements). Assist with internal HR initiatives, events planning, and internship programme coordination. Monitor the HR inbox, responding promptly to queries while triaging issues effectively. About You The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an operational or administrative HR role within a similar industry or professional services environment. You’ll be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced setting. Essential Skills & Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR administration or HR operations assistant role. CIPD Level 3 or working towards it (or equivalent). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong analytical skills; confident use of Excel functions such as pivot tables and lookups is essential. Experience using BambooHR or similar HRIS systems is desirable. Exceptional attention to detail with high standards of accuracy in record-keeping and written communication. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while meeting deadlines. Professional discretion when handling sensitive information. This will be for a c3 month assignment, due to growth.The responsibilities of the Management Accountant will be: Support the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met accurately and efficiently. Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments and depreciation adjustments. Reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving variances in a timely manner. Produce monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and supporting analysis. Maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies, procedures and accounting standards. Prepare cash flow reports and provide analysis to support effective financial planning. Deliver financial reporting and insightful analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and assist with finance-related projects as required. Identify and implement improvements to finance processes, controls and operational efficiencies. Review and challenge existing procedures, recommending best practice solutions to streamline workflows and enhance reporting quality. Work closely with colleagues across the finance function to strengthen controls and improve overall processes. Provide support to the Purchase Ledger team during peak periods, including processing supplier invoices and assisting with payment runs.
