Marketing Events Manager
Overview:
An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing B2B technology business as a Marketing Events Manager, taking ownership of its growing programme of live and digital events.
Working across conferences, exhibitions, roundtables, customer events and webinars, you'll be responsible for keeping the events calendar organised and ensuring each event is planned and delivered effectively from start to finish.
This is a hands-on events role for someone who loves organisation, coordination and making things happen. You'll work closely with Marketing and Sales, managing everything from venues, suppliers and speakers through to attendee communications, logistics and post-event follow-up.
The business has ambitious growth plans, with the US representing a key market, so there will also be some travel involved, including occasional trips to the US.
The Role:
You'll take ownership of the events and webinar programme, building a structured calendar and managing multiple events at different stages simultaneously.
From large industry conferences and trade shows to executive roundtables and webinars, you'll coordinate the detail behind each event and ensure internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders know exactly what needs to happen and when.
You'll also work closely with Sales to make sure events have clear commercial objectives, the right prospects and accounts are being targeted, and leads and opportunities are followed up effectively afterwards.
While this sits within Marketing, it isn't a heavily digital marketing-focused position. The emphasis is on excellent event management, organisation and coordination, alongside understanding how a successful B2B events programme contributes to wider commercial goals.
