This is a store-based role, requiring a hands-on approach to store management while also supporting broader retail operations in North UK and Ireland. Responsibilities You are setting a 21st century retail culture, creating a safe space of joy and respect for your teams across the North of the UK and Ireland.Oversee daily store operations of all existing and upcoming new store locations in the North UK and Ireland market, ensuring efficiency, service quality, and operational excellence, partnering with key functions such as the Retail Operations Supervisor.Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and implement strategies to optimize revenue and profitabilitySupport store teams in executing merchandising plans, product launches, and marketing campaignsEnsure compliance with operational policies, company SOPs, and local retail regulationsConduct regular store audits to assess performance, service quality, and operational efficiencyAct as a key point of contact for retail challenges and opportunities, ensuring smooth communication across teamsAssist in recruiting, onboarding, and training store-level staff, ensuring alignment with POP MART’s service standardsManage inventory flow and stock levels, ensuring optimal product availabilityLead and support future Northern UK & Ireland store openings, providing operational guidance and best practicesWork closely with internal teams (Marketing, HR, Supply chain) to enhance store operations Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in retail operations, preferably in a flagship or high-traffic retail environmentProven experience in store operations, sales performance management, and customer experience enhancementAbility to analyse sales data and implement strategic improvementsHands-on approach with strong problem-solving and operational execution skillsExperience in recruiting, onboarding, and training retail staffDemonstrated experience in handling employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, grievance management, and performance issuesStrong understanding of visual merchandising, inventory control to include managing and conducting quarterly store stocktakes, and retail complianceExcellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work cross-functionallyProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and retail analytics toolsBe able to commute to our Liverpool office.
