HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver (UK–Italy) Location: Lympne, Kent, UK Route: Lympne, Kent to Turin, Italy Schedule: Monday to Friday (Tramping) We are looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team, operating regular runs between Lympne, Kent and Turin, Italy. This role involves driving modern left-hand drive vehicles on international routes, ensuring freight is delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with UK and European regulations. Key Responsibilities - Safely operate and maintain left-hand drive HGV Class 1 vehicles. - Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects. - Ensure full compliance with UK, European and international driving laws and regulations. - Complete all transport documentation accurately and on time. - Adhere to drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations. - Maintain the security of the vehicle and load throughout each journey. - Deliver exceptional professionalism while representing the company. The Ideal Candidate Will Have - Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence. - Digital Tachograph Driver Card. - Driver CPC qualification. - Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience. - Experience driving throughout Europe. - Excellent knowledge of drivers' hours legislation and transport regulations. - Good knowledge of UK and European road networks. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Good communication skills. - Safe manual handling knowledge and experience. - A valid passport with the right to travel within Europe.
