HGV Driver C+E

HGV Class 1 Driver – Full Time Griffin Freight Services are currently looking for experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join our growing team, with immediate starts available. We specialise mainly in flatbed work, with some curtain sider work involved, operating across the UK. We are looking for reliable, professional drivers who take pride in their work and understand the importance of safety and load security. What We Offer Newly reviewed and competitive rates of pay (£16.20 p/h with overtime rate of £17.95 after 8hrs)Paid breaks & Night Out AllowanceFull-time, ongoing workModern and well-maintained fleetMixture of flatbed and curtain sider workRequirements Minimum 1 years Class 1 driving experience preferredFlatbed experience desirable but not essentialGood understanding of load security and driver complianceValid CPC and Digital Tachograph CardMust be available for regular nights out (this will range from 0-4 nights out p/week)Good knowledge of the UK road network and motorway systemThe Role Nationwide deliveries and collectionsDaily vehicle checks and defect reportingEnsuring loads are secured safely and correctlyMaintaining high standards of professionalism with customers and at delivery sitesAdhering to drivers’ hours and working time regulationsGuaranteed 40hrs per week but expect 50 + hrs per week.Please Note Due to the volume of applications received, applicants who have applied within the last 3 months need not reapply unless their experience or circumstances have significantly changed.
