Job Summary:
Nuovo Centro Casalinghi UK Ltd. is seeking a Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations, logistics planning, inventory management, and distribution activities. The role is responsible for optimizing procurement, warehousing, transportation, supplier performance, and operational efficiency while ensuring cost-effective delivery, excellent customer service, and compliance with UK logistics and supply chain standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement coordination, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution planning
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth objectives
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and ensure continuity of supply for products and materials
Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, stock replenishment, demand forecasting, and order fulfilment processes to maintain optimal inventory levels
Coordinate domestic and international logistics activities, including freight management, transportation planning, customs coordination (where applicable), and delivery scheduling
Monitor supply chain KPIs, logistics performance, inventory turnover, service levels, operational costs, and customer satisfaction while implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with UK health and safety regulations, transportation standards, environmental requirements, and company operational policies
Collaborate with procurement, sales, finance, customer service, production, and operations teams to improve planning, forecasting, and supply chain performance
Recruit, mentor, and develop logistics coordinators, warehouse supervisors, procurement specialists, and supply chain professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Extensive experience in supply chain management, logistics, warehouse operations, procurement, or distribution management within retail, consumer goods, manufacturing, or wholesale environments
Strong knowledge of inventory management, demand planning, ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and supply chain analytics
Experience managing supplier relationships, procurement strategies, freight operations, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement programmes
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM methodologies, and UK logistics regulations is highly desirable
Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP, CLTD, CILT, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, PMP, or equivalent are advantageous
Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, negotiation, strategic planning, project management, and stakeholder management skills
