Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.Assist guests with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their dining experience.Ensure the dining area is clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout shifts.Handle payments efficiently, including cash and card transactions, adhering to cash handling procedures.Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and comply with all health regulations.Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly.Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions or concerns courteously and professionally.Skills Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential.Strong knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently.Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately.Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.Time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.A friendly demeanour with a genuine passion for guest service and hospitality excellence.Willingness to learn about menu items, wine pairings, and upselling strategies to enhance guest experiences.
