Warehouse AssociateYou'll be part of the Amazon warehouse team that prepares and delivers orders to customers who count on us every day. These active, hands-on roles put you at the centre of how Amazon delivers—whether you're in a Fulfilment Centre, Sortation Centre, or Delivery Station, you'll help make sure customers receive their orders on time.Basic Job RequirementsBe 18 years or olderUnderstand and follow instructions in EnglishLift up to 23kgPush utility carts up to 27kgStand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shiftsUse carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items aroundGo up and down stairs (where applicable)Work at a height of up to 12m on a mezzanine (where applicable)Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfilment production standardsYou may be required to handle a full range of Amazon products, including alcohol, pork, beef and other animal productsWhat You’ll DoReceive and put away inventory in designated warehouse locationsPick customer orders from shelves and pack items for shipmentLoad packed boxes onto trucks and unload incoming freight from trailersUse scanners to read bar codes on productsView prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasksTroubleshoot problemsEnsure product meets quality requirementsSome roles require you to learn how to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers. Climate-controlled facilities maintain temperatures between 15°C and 32°C in most areas.Noise level. It can get noisy at times. We provide hearing protection if you need it.Dress code.
