Warehouse AssociateYou'll be part of the Amazon warehouse team that prepares and delivers orders to customers who count on us every day. These active, hands-on roles put you at the centre of how Amazon delivers—whether you're in a Fulfilment Centre, Sortation Centre, or Delivery Station, you'll help make sure customers receive their orders on time.Basic Job RequirementsBe 18 years or olderUnderstand and follow instructions in EnglishLift up to 23kgPush utility carts up to 27kgStand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shiftsUse carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items aroundGo up and down stairs (where applicable)Work at a height of up to 12m on a mezzanine (where applicable)Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfilment production standardsYou may be required to handle a full range of Amazon products, including alcohol, pork, beef and other animal productsWhat You’ll DoReceive and put away inventory in designated warehouse locationsPick customer orders from shelves and pack items for shipmentLoad packed boxes onto trucks and unload incoming freight from trailersUse scanners to read bar codes on productsView prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasksTroubleshoot problemsEnsure product meets quality requirementsSome roles require you to learn how to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.Please Note: Job responsibilities may be different based on the warehouse type. Amazon may place you in a role based on location and shift availability.Schedule OptionsShift Options. Early Morning, Daytime, Evening, and Overnight hours.Weekly Hours. Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time (30-39 hours), Part-Time (20-29 hours), or Flex-Time (0-19 hours).Schedule Flexibility. Choose from a Fixed weekly schedule or Flexible Schedules.Overtime Opportunities. When customer demand increases, you may have the chance to work additional days.What It’s Like at an Amazon WarehouseSafety & Your WorkspaceSafety. Your safety is our top priority. Our state-of-the-art facilities are clean, well-organised, and designed with your safety in mind.Equipment. You’ll be working around moving equipment – PIT equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers, as well as mobile carts, dollies, and rolling cages.Physical Activity. Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs.Work ConditionsTemperature. Climate-controlled facilities maintain temperatures between 15°C and 32°C in most areas.Noise level. It can get noisy at times. We provide hearing protection if you need it.Dress code. Relaxed and comfortable.
