Our dedicated team provides high-quality care for older adults, including those living with dementia, with compassion, dignity, and respect. We are currently seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in the daily running of the home and to help lead our team with professionalism and empathy. Location: Thornton Lodge and Hall - L23 1UB Deputy Manager – 40 hrs per week Rates of Pay / Salary: £35,000 -38,000 per annum What You'll Be Doing Assist in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Lead, supervise, and support the care team to deliver outstanding care. Participate in assessments and care reviews, acting as a key contact for residents, families, and staff. Foster strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams and external partners. Promote a positive, resident-focused culture in line with our “Good” CQC rating. We’re seeking someone who is: Previous experience as a Deputy Manager in a larger care home, or in a leadership role within a care setting. Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care. Strong understanding of CQC standards, DoLS, and the Mental Capacity Act (MCA). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills. Ability to prioritise tasks, remain organised, and make sound decisions under pressure. A compassionate, resident-focused approach, with a strong commitment to promoting dignity and independence.
