Our client is seeking dedicated NQTs across Caerphilly secondary schools, welcoming all subject specialisms. You’ll be supported throughout your induction year with guidance from a designated NQT mentor. Key Responsibilities: As a Secondary School Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) based in Caerphilly, your daily duties will include: Leading learning across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes. Preparing classrooms for lessons and planning schemes of work where required. Delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, including classroom and lab-based activities where appropriate. Following the school’s behaviour management policies and maintaining a positive learning environment. Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful as a Secondary School Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT), you will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or an overseas equivalent). EWC registration (Education Workforce Council) as a Teacher (support available to obtain this). Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
