Whether you already have payroll experience or you're an experienced administrator looking to develop your career in payroll, we'd love to hear from you. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our payroll processes run smoothly, supporting colleagues with payroll and system queries, maintaining accurate employee records, and helping to deliver an excellent service across the business. If you're highly organised, enjoy working with data, and can confidently prioritise a busy workload, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Working pattern: Monday to Friday | 8am -4:30pm | Hybrid working, 3 days in the office, 2 days at home Job ID: 7364 What you'll be serving up... As a Payroll Administrator, you'll support the smooth running of the payroll function while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies. You'll work closely with HR, Finance and colleagues across the business to provide an efficient and professional service. Maintain accurate employee records, including starters, leavers and changes to pay or personal details. Manage the Dayforce payroll inbox, responding to and prioritising queries. Provide first-line support to colleagues experiencing Dayforce login or system access issues via phone and email. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries in a timely manner. Ensure payroll information is processed accurately and in line with HMRC regulations and company policies. Liaise with pension providers, benefits teams and third-party payroll providers where required. Support payroll audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data in line with GDPR. Build positive working relationships with colleagues across the business to deliver an excellent payroll service. The ingredients you'll bring... We're looking for someone who is highly organised, enjoys working with detail, and can confidently manage multiple priorities. You'll be a great fit if you have: Previous payroll experience (desirable), or significant experience in a busy administrative role with transferable skills. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Good IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems (experience with Dayforce would be an advantage). Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach when dealing with colleague queries. An understanding of payroll processes, payroll legislation, tax and pensions would be beneficial, but not essential. The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team. Brilliant Work Deserves Brilliant Perks! At Elior, we believe that when you love where you work, it shows. That’s why we make sure our team feels appreciated, supported, and set up for success! Here’s what’s waiting for you: Free, tasty meals – Enjoy tasty, nutritious food on us while you work! Flexible working – including part time roles, because life doesn’t run on a 9-5 schedule. Plenty of Time to Unwind – 31 days of holiday, and after two years, even more with 33 days. Leave for life’s important moments – whether family, personal or unexpected. Give back time – paid volunteering days for the causes you care about. Room to grow – career development and learning opportunities for all stages of your career. Wellbeing first – mental health support and wellbeing perks. Financial security – pension schemes and life assurance. Exclusive discounts – save on entertainment, leisure, and even travel! If you’re passionate and ready to grow, we want to hear from you! We Celebrate You! At Elior, diversity and inclusion aren’t just policies, they’re who we are. We know that different perspectives make us stronger, and we’re dedicated to creating an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered to succeed.
