Job Description
This is a varied and rewarding position offering both operational and strategic responsibilities. You will:
Provide expert HR advice and guidance to leaders and staffLead and coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and safer recruitment processesManage employee relations cases including absence management, maternity, and wellbeing supportSupport the development and implementation of HR policies and proceduresMaintain accurate HR systems and records in line with UK GDPR requirementsMonitor workforce data and provide meaningful reports to senior leadersSupport performance management and staff development initiativesWork collaboratively with schools and central teams to promote staff engagement and wellbeingEnsure safeguarding and compliance requirements are consistently met
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a confident HR professional who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent interpersonal skills.
You will ideally have:
Experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within education or a multi-site organisationStrong knowledge of employment law and HR best practiceExperience managing recruitment and employee relations processesExcellent organisational and communication skillsThe ability to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levelsA professional, approachable, and solution-focused mindsetHigh levels of discretion and confidentiality
