About the role: We are looking for a skilled Marketing Assistant Apprentice to join our Product Set-Up Team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for taking the lead in the creation and listing of multiple products and categories across the business units, sourcing product information from various areas importing new product codes into our system, and completing the various merchandising steps needed to list products across our websites and marketplace channels. We're looking for someone who has an eye for detail, experience in a similar role and the ability to work fast and effectively to meet deadlines. You will have a 'right first time' approach and understand the impacts of poor data quality, as well as the ability to communicate well with both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: Create, import & update product data (including new product codes, product titles, attributes, images and copy) within our system Basic image editing, background removal and resizing to meet channel requirements Demonstrate copy writing skills & utilise AI tools to create custom product descriptions Accurately follow category set-up guides to ensure products are set up right first time Manage relationships with the internal team, manufacturers and suppliers to retrieve additional content or marketing materials when required Communicate updates and flag potential issues with key stakeholders internally and externally Desirable skills: Knowledge of furniture or bathroom products A self-starter, capable of working autonomously to get the job done An eye for detail with a right first-time approach Ability to closely follow instructions Ability to work against and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and a great team player Effective time management and organisation skills Ability to work well with others Competent computer / technology skills with access to Microsoft Teams Knowledge of Microsoft excel and data tables, with management of data uploads Entry requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
