Logistics Manager - Henley on Thames Project duration: Ongoing Starting Salary: £230 per shift Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Site Hours: 07.00am - 17.00pm UKR Group is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to start ASAP in a job in Henley on Thames. Responsibilities: · Oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction site. · Coordinate and supervise on-site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers. · Monitor progress against the project plan, addressing delays or issues as they arise. · Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, carrying out regular site inspections and risk assessments. · Manage site logistics, including materials delivery, storage, and waste disposal. · Keep accurate records of site activity, including labour hours, equipment usage, and incident reports. · Oversee quality control and ensure all work meets contractual and regulatory requirements. · Prepare and present progress reports to senior management. Skills: · Strong leadership and people management abilities. · Excellent organisational and time-management skills. · Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans. · Sound knowledge of building methods, materials, and legal regulations. · Effective communication and negotiation skills. · Problem-solving and decision-making capability under pressure. · Competence in project management software and basic IT applications. · Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Requirements · CSCS card · Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar supervisory role within construction. · Up-to-date knowledge of building regulations and health and safety legislation in the UK.
