Logistics Manager - Luton

We\'re looking for an engaged and motivated individual to join our team as Logistics Manager of our Luton depot. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with good leadership skills to oversee and run the depot and motivate and ensure staff engagement. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where key drivers are compliance and customer satisfaction; attention to detail and good problem-solving skills are also very important qualities. About the role: To ensure smooth running, health & safety and profitability of the depot. Other duties will include meeting all onsite and vehicle legal requirements. Candidates should have an intuitive ability to clearly communicate their ideas at all levels in the organization and to external customers. A firm grasp of key performance indicators, their collation, interpretation and presentation. Robust management skills to successfully manage and steer the depot personnel. Job Purpose: To expedite the Operational Management of the depots Logistics and Warehousing functions. Setting and maintaining high standard in quality and performance, meeting all objectives, deadlines set and instilling firm leadership and direction to his/her team.
