Construction Site Labourer

Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to assist our site team with day-to-day operations. The role involves general site duties such as moving materials, maintaining cleanliness, assisting tradespeople, and helping to ensure that work runs smoothly and safely. Our projects are usually with 1 hour's travel of York and candidates would ideally be located near to York and must have transport to travel to site as they are not always accessible by public transport. Main Responsibilities: Assist with site preparation, loading and unloading materials, and moving equipment.Maintain site cleanliness and organisation, ensuring walkways and work areas are clear.Support tradesmen and machine operators as required.Perform basic tasks such as mixing concrete, digging, and lifting.Help set up tools, barriers, and temporary works.Follow health and safety procedures at all times and wear the correct PPE.Report any hazards, incidents, or issues to the Site Supervisor.Carry out other general labouring tasks as needed on site.Skills and Experience: Essential: Previous experience working on a construction siteUnderstanding of basic health and safety requirements on site.Ability to work hard in a physically demanding outdoor environment.Good communication and teamwork skills.Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.Full UK driving licence and access to transport.****** STRICTLY NO AGENCIES ****** Job Type: Full-time Pay: £13.00-£17.50 per hour Application question(s): Are you able to drive to and from the job site?Work Location: In person
