We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 1 Day Drivers (or Cat C+E Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Gatwick depot. Day shifts typically start 06:00 am What You’ll Do: Our HGV Class 1 drivers usually drive our longer routes in waves, ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles from depots to our clients and other sites in the EVRi network. You’ll ensure parcels are collected and delivered safely; paperwork updated and assist depot staff with heavier items from time to time. This will include pallet truck and tail lift work. We know the great British roads and weather don’t always play nicely, so you’ll need to keep us updated with any problems. We can then help find an alternative route.  Our HGV Class 1 drivers work on shifts. Full-time contracts: 40 hours per week, any 5 out of 7 days (including weekends). Essential Skills & Experience Required: You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C E) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph. Newly qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
