General Labourer

About Us At Westons Group, we are a team of directly employed professionals with a reputation for excellence across both internal and external projects. Operating throughout the South East of England, we provide reactive repairs, planned maintenance and refurbishment works for local authorities, housing associations, trusts and more. Due to continued growth and an expanding workload, we are looking for a General Labourer to join our team. This role will support the smooth running of our property renovation works, working alongside our trades and wider operations team. Our business is built on safety, quality workmanship, reliability and excellent customer service. What We Are Looking For We are seeking a practical, hardworking and reliable General Labourer to assist with a variety of works across void properties. The successful candidate will be comfortable carrying out physical work, working as part of a team and assisting tradespeople to ensure properties and work areas are kept safe, clean and organised. Previous experience in the construction or property maintenance sector is desirable. Experience in a trade is advantageous but not essential, and relevant experience and skills will be reflected in the overall package. Key Responsibilities Assist with property preparation and renovation works Carry out general lifting and manual handling, including heavy lifting where required Assist skilled tradespeople with general labouring duties Keep properties, work areas and sites clean, tidy and safe Follow company health and safety policies and procedures Work professionally and respectfully in properties Carry out any other reasonable duties required to support the smooth running of projects About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience in general labouring or a similar role Experience within construction, property maintenance or a trade environment is desirable A reliable and hardworking approach The ability to carry out physically demanding work, including lifting and manual handling The ability to work effectively as part of a team A good understanding of keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe A valid UK driving licence Pay: £110.00-£140.00 per day Work Location: In person
