Job description

Equans is looking for a Lifecycle Project Site Supervisor to join our team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience and benefits package. What will you deliver?Manage the site delivery of capital works and lifecycle projects as part of the project delivery team at the QEHSupporting the project manager to manage site H&S, site management, snagging and hangover of every project, as required, including the monitoring of a team of Trade Operatives and Sub-ContractorsResponsible for the supervision of sub-contractors delivering a wide range of project worksResponsible for the efficient use of resources and ensuring that, job planning, appointments, materials, plant and equipment are effectively utilised and continuously improved in accordance with service delivery targetsResponsible for the management of health & safety on all projects and the necessary completion, snagging and handover of all projectsManage Quality Control through a structured monitoring process and auditingLiaison with the client on both a formal and informal basisApplication for all licences, permits etc. and ensuring they are in place to execute the works correctlyWhat can we offer you?On offer is a salary banding of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience and benefits package, which includes;24 days annual leave increasing to 25 days once 2 years service is reached (+ public holidays)Life Cover equivalent to 1.5 times annual salaryEmployee discount shopping schemes on major brands and retailersGym membership discounts Cycle to work scheme Holiday purchase scheme2 corporate social responsibility days per yearBroad range of learning opportunities, such as professional qualifications, collective/individual training, and personalized support programmesAttractive Employee Referral Rewards SchemeAccess to our growing employee networks24/7 Employee Assistance Program and access to mental wellbeing appWho are you?Experience of construction areas and relevant knowledge of building legislation and building and construction projectsStrong ICT skillsStrong people management skillsExperience of managing specialist sub-contract supply chainsExcellent understanding and adherence to SHEQ practicesUp to date relevant knowledge and experience of Health and Safety legislationMicrosoft Office or other relevant IT related qualification (Desirable)SSSTS (Desirable)IOSH (Desirable)Driving licenceThis role includes a DBS Basic check therefore ability to pass is essential.
