Document Controller (Marine/Offshore or EPC Project Experience)

Role Overview: Orbit ISS is looking for experienced Document Controller to manage, control, and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in document management systems, document registers, transmittals, revisions, approvals, and project records, preferably within marine, offshore, shipyard, or EPC projects. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain project documentation in line with company and client procedures. Receive, register, distribute, track, and archive project documents. Maintain document registers, transmittals, revisions, approvals, and status logs. Control technical documents, drawings, reports, certificates, and project records. Monitor document submissions, reviews, approvals, comments, and close-out status. Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Commissioning, contractors, and vendors for outstanding documents. Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems and ensure document traceability. Manage documents through DMS/EDMS and ERP systems. Prepare document status reports and follow up on overdue documentation. Support preparation of project dossiers, handover documents, and final close-out records. Ensure the latest approved document revisions are available to relevant personnel. Support internal/external audits and provide required project records. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proven experience in project document control. Familiarity with DMS/EDMS and ERP applications. Experience with transmittals, document registers, revisions, approvals, and project records. Preferably experience in marine, offshore, shipyard, or EPC projects. Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel with strong organizational and communication skills.
