Job description

About Us Thinqi is a UK learning, talent and performance platform that helps organisations close the gap between their L&D investment and real-world business outcomes. Our platform is used across NHS Trusts, UK police forces, local authorities, mid-market enterprises and the wider Welsh public sector, with a strong and growing footprint in regulated environments where compliance, capability and culture matter. We are building out our marketing function. This is a new role, sitting alongside a Digital Marketing Manager, and it exists because our campaigns need someone who can write well and ship consistently. About the role This is a writing and delivery role. We run five or six evergreen brand campaigns across the year, each a narrative that builds over months rather than a burst of promotion, alongside vertical campaigns aimed at healthcare, policing, local government, education and mid-market. You will turn those plans into the words and the output that reach our buyers: the emails, the landing pages, the social posts, the blogs and the webinar promotion. Our buyers take four to eight months to reach a decision, so our campaigns are built to nurture over that period. You will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and work to a campaign calendar rather than a queue of ad-hoc requests. The strategy will be set for you. What we need from you is craft, pace, and reliability. You will also own our social presence day-to-day. In time, we will bring in a dedicated social hire, and this role will hold the channel until we do. What you will do Campaign delivery. Build and ship the campaigns the Marketing Manager plans, both the evergreen brand arcs and the vertical campaigns beneath them. Emails, landing pages, forms, lists, and nurture sequences, delivered to the dates on the calendar and sustained across the life of the campaign.Writing. Write the bulk of our marketing copy: campaign emails, landing pages, blogs, social posts, guides, event collateral and sales enablement pieces. Adapt tone for very different readers, from an NHS clinical lead to a local authority HR director.Social media. Own our LinkedIn presence. Plan and schedule against the campaign calendar, write the posts, support our contributors, and keep the channel consistent between campaigns rather than only during them.HubSpot. Work in HubSpot every day. Build emails, landing pages, forms and lists, keep records clean and segmentation accurate, and follow the lifecycle and routing rules the Marketing Manager sets.Webinars and events. Run the promotion and follow-up for our monthly webinars, roundtables, and industry events, including Learning Technologies and CIPD. Handle registration, reminders, collateral, and post-event nurture.Reporting. Pull the numbers that tell us how campaigns are performing, keep the reporting current, and flag what looks off before anyone has to ask.Working with sales. Sit close to our commercial team. Understand which content lands with which buyer, and take feedback from the people having the conversations. What we are looking for 2 to 4 years in a B2B marketing role, ideally in software, technology or a sector with a considered buying cycle.Experience of campaigns that run over months, not weeks. You have worked on evergreen or always-on campaigns alongside targeted vertical ones, and you understand the difference between nurturing an audience towards a decision and promoting a single event. Tell us what those campaigns produced, in numbers.A genuinely strong writer. This matters more than anything else on this list. You should be able to write about a subject you did not know last week and sound credible to someone who has worked in it for twenty years. We will ask to see your writing.Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform: building emails, landing pages, forms and lists without needing support.Practical experience running a B2B social channel, LinkedIn in particular, and a view on what works in a long sales cycle rather than a consumer one.Organised and dependable. You work to a calendar, you hit dates, and you tell people early when something will slip.Curious about the sectors we sell into. You do not need public sector experience, but you do need to want to understand how an NHS trust or a police force actually buys.Comfortable being the only person doing your job. We are a small team, and you will have real ownership from the start. What this role is not We work with external agencies for SEO and paid advertising, and we have designers in-house. You will not be running ad budgets or designing assets. This role is about words, campaigns, and getting things out of the door. Where you will work Our head office is in Swansea. This role is hybrid: we will agree a regular pattern of time in the office with flexibility to work from home. You will need to be within a reasonable travelling distance of Swansea. How to apply Send us your CV along with two pieces of writing you are proud of. They do not have to be marketing copy, and they do not have to be recent. Tell us briefly why you chose them. Then tell us about one campaign you worked on that ran for several months. What was the story you were telling, what did you produce across it, and what did it deliver? We are interested in the numbers, and equally in what you would do differently. Benefits: Competitive salary - £35,000 depending on experienceAnnual Leave: 25 days plus public holidaysPension scheme: Salary Sacrifice SchemeHybrid working: Office-based Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with home working on Tuesday and Thursday.Modern tech stack and home office setup allowanceParking: Discounted season tickets are available for car parking locally
