Financial & Tax Accountant Cambridge (Hybrid) £50,000-£55,000 Heap & Co are looking for a Financial & Tax Accountant to join our listed Technology client in Cambridge. This would ideally suit a qualified accountant from practice or industry, with exposure to year-end accounts, tax and payroll. You do not need to be a complete expert in all areas if you can demonstrate the ability and willingness to pick new tasks up quickly and to a high level. The Role As Financial & Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for financial reporting, tax and payroll. Key Responsibilities Preparation of statutory accounts.VAT and corporation tax.Monthly payroll.Balance sheet reconciliations.Support other areas of finance as required. About You You will bring a proactive, can‑do attitude and enjoy working in a varied and evolving environment. You will be confident managing your own workload, with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and constructively with stakeholders across a Technology business. Your Experience Preparation of accounts.Corporation tax, VAT and associated work.Payroll. Qualifications ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, or latter stage part-qualified.
