Senior Accountant The Opportunity A well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice is looking for an ambitious Accounts Senior to join their growing team. What You'll Be Doing Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole tradersCorporation tax computations and returnsBookkeeping and VAT return preparation/filing across various VAT schemesMonthly and quarterly management accountsActing as a key point of contact for client queriesSupporting and mentoring junior team membersProviding hands-on support to the wider management team What We're Looking For AAT qualified, and at least part-qualified ACA/ACCA2+ years' experience in practiceSolid working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102Comfortable across common accounting software (cloud-based packages and practice management systems); specific platform experience is a bonus, not a mustA natural relationship-builder who enjoys client contactOrganised, detail-focused, and able to juggle multiple deadlinesA team player who's equally happy working under their own initiative What's On Offer Competitive, experience-based salaryHybrid and flexible working, including flexi-time and early Friday finishesDiscretionary annual bonusFull study support if you're still working toward qualificationPension schemeGenerous annual leave that increases with post-qualified service (up to 28 days)Access to a corporate benefits/rewards platformRegular team social eventsFree on-site parking
